We are used to watching the ‘smoking & drinking alcohol is injurious to health’ notices in films. But filming such scenes are really difficult & the actors performing them are genuinely tested. Upcoming Marathi film ‘Dry Day’ directed by Pandurang Jadhav has a similar scene. To make this scene seem natural the actors had to actually drink real alcohol.

Presented by Anandsagar Production House & produced by Sanjay Patil ‘Dry Day’ is a film that unlike its title has young characters in high spirits as seen in the trailer. The director had to work really hard to pull out natural performances out of the four actors of being high. Finally, director Pandurang Jadhav decided to make the actors Rutwik Kendre, Chinmay Kambli & Kailas Waghmare actually high on alcohol. Surprisingly all the actors gave a perfect performance after getting high & the whole scene was shot in one take.

‘Dry Day’ is set to release in theatres from 13^th July & also stars Parth Ghatage, Monalisa Bagal, Aayli Ghia & Sanika Mutalik among others. The audiences can enjoy a youth-centric entertainer in Marathi after a long time in the form of ‘Dry Day’!

They have sung a duet song for the upcoming Marathi film ‘Dry Day’. This marks their debut in Marathi.

‘Dry Day’ is produced by Sanjay Patil through the banner ‘Anand Sagar Productions’. The music of this film is composed by Ashwin Shrinivasan who has previously assisted Oscar winner A.R. Rehman. Ashwin Shrinivasan too is making his debut in Marathi. Jonita & Ash King’s duet song is titled ‘Gaar Gaar Kolshat Uthavi Hi Aag Kashi’ & the lyrics of this song are written by Jay Atre.

Directed by Pandurang Jadhav ‘Dry Day’ is set to release on 8th September all over Maharashtra. Shweta is a social media manager, & she could have easily traveled through plane, but instead rents a car as she wants to complete her presentation before reaching Goa. But on the request of the car dealer Shweta lets Shree to travel with her by the same car but on certain conditions. It would be fun to see what happens in this journey of 10-12 hrs! Will Shree obediently fall prey to all of Shweta’s conditions or will there be arguments? How will they fall in love?
