Teaser of the much awaited Marathi film “Mumbai Pune Mumbai -2 Lagnala Yaychach” was unveiled recently in a glittering event. The film stars Swwaapnil Joshi and Mukta Barve in lead roles. This is a sequel of Mumbai Pune Mumbai and is directed by Satish Rajwade and produced jointly by Mirah Entertainment and Everest Entertainment.

Satish Rajwade, the well known director who has given many back-to-back successful Marathi films says “The first Mumbai-Pune-Mumbai film revolves around only two characters,. Two completely opposite people meet and eventually fall in love. It happened so that Mumbai-Pune-Mumbai started slowly and eventually grew to become a cult love story. The film was remade in six other languages and went global. The audience loved Swwapnil and Mukta and wanted to see more. With Mumbai-Pune-Mumbai-2 we are taking this cult love story forward.

‘POPAT’, brand new, fresh and enthralling Marathi movie is all set to release all across Maharashtra on 23″‘ August 2013. The first look of this movie was held on Monday in Pune.
“POPAT” brand new piece in the making, stars Atul Kulkarni, Amey Wagh,Siddharth Menon and Ketan Pawar along with Anita Date, Neha Shitcle and Megha Ghadge. The screenplay and dialogue is by Chinmay Kelkar and the story by Satish Rajwade. Bhaskar Samala is the director of photography with the music score by Avinash-Vishwajeet. The choreographer is Phulwa Khamkar,editing by Rajesh Rao and make-up by Santosh Gayake. Pallavi Rajwade has designed the costumes and the singers involved are Swapnil Bandodkar, Bela Shende, Prasanajeet and Maithilee Panes Joshi. Umesh Shinde is the executive producer.

It is sheer hard work and team effort that has made it possible to churn out another film in a span of 5 months which is ready for release. `पोपट’ची पहिली झलक प्रदर्शित’

पोपट ताजातवाना आणि खिळवून ठेवणारा असा हा मराठी चित्रपट 23 ऑगस्ट 2013 रोजी रूपेरी पडद्यावर

`पोपट’मध्ये अतुल कुलकर्णा, अमेय वाघ, सिध्दार्थ मेनन आणि केतन पवार यांच्यासह अनिता दाते, नेहा शितोळे व मेघा घाडगे यांच्या भूमिका `पोपट’ हा नवाकोरा, ताज्या दमाचा आणि खिळवून ठेवणारा मनोरंजक मराठी चित्रपट संपूर्ण महाराष्ट्रात 23 ऑगस्ट 2013 रोजी प्रदर्शित होत आहे. या चित्रपटाची पहिली झलक पुण्यात नुकतीच दाखविण्यात आली.

`पोपट‘या नव्या मराठी चित्रपटात अतुल कुलकर्णा, अमेय वाघ, सिध्दार्थ मेनन आणि केतन पवार यांच्या भूमिका आहेत. सहाय्यक कलाकारांमध्ये अनिता दाते, नेहा शितोळे आणि मेघा घाडगे यांचा समावेश आहे. चित्रपटाची पटकथा आणि संवाद चिन्मय केळकर यांचे आहेत तर कथा सतीश राजवाडे यांची आहे. भास्कर सामला हे छायालेखक असून संगीत अविनाश-विश्वजीत यांचे आहे. फुलवा खामकर यांनी कोरियोग्राफी केली असून संकलन राजेश राव यांचे आहे. संतोष गायके यांनी रंगपटाची जबाबदारी पार पाडली आहे. पल्लवी राजवाडे यांनी कपडेपटाची जबाबदारी सांभाळ ली आहे. स्वप्निल बांदोडकर, बेला शेंडे, प्रसन्नजीत आणि मैलीथी पेन्स-जोशी यांनी यातील गाणी गायली आहे. उमेश शिंदे हा चित्रपटाचा कार्यकारी निर्माता आहे.

मिराह एन्टरटेन्मेंट आणि सतीश राजवाडे यांनी `मुंबई-पुणे-मुंबई’, `प्रेमाची गोष्ट‘ असे अनेक चित्रपट यशस्वीपणे दिले आहेत. आपल्या आगामी `पोपट’बद्दलही दोघांना आत्मविश्वास आहे. कठोर मेहनत आणि संघभावना यांच्या माध्यमातून केवळ  पाचच महिन्यांमध्ये मिराह एन्टरटेन्मेंट आणि राजवाडे यांनी नवा चित्रपट दाखल केला आहे. तो आता प्रदर्शनासाठी सज्ज आहे. अतुल आपल्या भूमिकांच्या बाबतीत अत्यंत निवडक असतो आणि आपल्या भूमिकांमध्ये परिपूर्णता येईल यावर त्याचा कटाक्ष असतो. एकामागोमाग दोन चित्रपट स्वीकारण्याची त्याची ही पहिलीच वेळ आहे. मिराह एन्टरटेन्मेंट प्रायव्हेट लिमिटेड या एकाच निर्मिती कंपनीचे दोन चित्रपट त्याने एकापाठोपाठ स्वीकारले. हे दोन्ही चित्रपट सतीश राजवाडे यांनी दिग्दर्शित केले असून दोन्ही अगदी वेगळ्या धाटणीचे आहेत. हा चित्रपट थेट 30 दिवसांमध्ये चित्रीत केला गेला आहे. कोल्हापूरच्या अत्यंत निसर्गरम्य अशा परिसरात एकाच सत्रात त्याचे चित्रीकरण झाले आहे, असे उद्गार मिराह एन्टरटेन्मेंटचे श्री अमित भानुशाली यांनी काढले.

दिग्दर्शक सतीश राजवाडे यांनी या चित्रपटाचे वर्णन अत्यंत समर्पक शब्दांत केले आहे. ’एक अतुलनीय, प्रेरणादायी, सर्जनशील आणि अत्यंत मनोरंजक अशी ही निर्मिती आहे. `पोपट’ काही तरी अविश्वसनीय असे प्रेक्षकांसमोर ठेवतो आणि त्याचे वर्णन करायला शब्द नाहीत. मी केवU शहरी विषयांना हात घालणारा शहरी कथाकार आहे, अशी छाप आतापर्यंत माझ्यावर होती. `पोपट’ हा ग्रमाण पार्श्वभूमीवर आकाराला येणारा आणि गावंढU बोलीभाषा असलेला माझा पहिला चित्रपट आहे. `पोपट’ हा विस्तारीत प्रेक्षकवर्गाला डोÈयांसमोर ठेवून आकाराला आला आहे. शहरी आणि ग्रामीण अशा दोन्ही प्रकारच्या प्रेक्षकांना तो आवडेल,“ असे ते म्हणतात. ’पोपट हा संपूर्णत: सर्जनशील निर्णय आहे आणि या विषयाला अनुसरून आवश्यक ती निरागसता आणि भेद्यता या चित्रपटात अधोरेखित केली गेली आहे. या चित्रपटातील गावंढळ वळणाची जी भाषा वापरली गेली आहे त्यात बराच गोडवा आहे आणि ती उभी करताना मला खूप मजा आली. ती प्रत्येकाशी अगदी सहजपणे जोडली जाते आणि मनोरंजनाची एक वेगळी शक्ती त्यात आहे. `पोपट’ या चित्रपटात जी कथा सांगितली गेली आहे, तिला उत्तम अशी पार्श्वभूमी आहे. एक कथाकार म्हणून मला एक वेगळा वनव्हास साकारणे गरजेचे वाटते आणि ही बाब मी नेहमीच पाUत आलो आहे. मिराह एन्टरटेन्मेंटने मला हे स्वातंत्र्य दिले त्याबद्दल कंपनीचा मी आभारी आहे, कारण शेवटी मनोरंजन करणे ही फार मोठी जबाबदारी असते,“ असेही राजवाडे यांनी पुढे म्हटले.

मिराह एन्टरटेन्मेंटच्या श्री अमित भानुशाली यांनी म्हटले की, ’कंपनीने आतापर्यंत अनेक हॉलीवूड चित्रपटांचे संपादन करून त्यांचे वितरण केले आहे. एमईपीएलने `मम्मी-थ्री’ आणि `पॅरानॉर्मल  अक्टीव्हीटी’ यांसारख्या चित्रपटांचे संपादन आणि वितरण केले आहे.त्याचबरोबर `फिराक’, `जेल’, `हेल्लो’, `8X10 तस्वीर’ आणि इतरही कित्येक चित्रपटांची सह-निर्मिती केली आहे. त्याशिवाय कंपनीने `हाऊसफुल’, `हाऊसफुल 2′, `दबंग’ आदी चित्रपटांचे वितरण केले आहे.“ जगभरातील चित्रपट प्रेक्षकांसाठी मिराह एन्टरटेन्मेंटने नेहमीच दर्जेदार मनोरंजन दिले आहे, असेही भानुशाली पुढे म्हणाले.
