‘Natasamrat’ the epic by V.V. Shirwadkar; Natasamrat famous play which hit the theater and Now Natasamrat in form of Marathi Cinema. A Shakespearean tragedy, a story of Appasaheb Belwalkar, the reigning king of the stage who came out of the theater but could not get theater out of him. He has lived the glory of golden era of Marathi stage and played all the Shakespearean characters with gusto. Nana Patekar is in lead role as Appasaheb Belwalkar and Medha Manjrekar is playing role of his better half Kaveri in this. Along with them Mrunmayee Deshpande, Neha Pendse, Sunil Barve, Ajit Parab will be seen in this movie.
As usual Zee Studios presenting different yet great concept to the industry. A Fincraft Media, Gajanan Chitra & Great Maratha Entertainment together produced this film and Mahesh Waman Manjrekar has directed this film.
