Kaakan , a first directorial venture by eminent actress Kranti Redkar is ready for release on 10 April. The trailer of this film was released recently on Youtube and other social media.
The film revolves around star-crossed young couple in 1970s. The story is definitely more than just a love story as trailer depicts relationship between an old person and a small boy beautifully. Jitu looks convincing in a completely different avatar as an old man living in present time. The beautiful picturesque locations of Konkan make this film surely worth watching. Urmila Kothare looks absolutely stunning in 1970s rural Marathi look.
The film stars Jitendra Joshi, Urmila Kanetkar Kothare, Madhavi Juvekar-Kulkarni, Aashok Shinde and child actors Ashitosh Gaikwad and Aakash Banerjee.
The songs of this film specially title song, Kaakan (soulfully rendered by Shankar Mahadevan and Neha Rajpal ) are already been superhits. We wish similar success for this film as well. The film releases on 10th April.
