Zee Talkies presents Dadasaheb Phalke Marathi Chitrapat Awards

Zee Talkies will broadcast Dadasaheb Phalke Marathi Chitrapat Samnan Awards event on 19 June at 7 pm. The event will honor best of the Marathi films in 2015 and also include live performances by various Marathi actors and dancers.

The performances include Shiva Tandav Dance by Mayuresh Pem and dance performances by Mansi Naik, Adinath Kothare, Raqesh Bapat, Vaidehi Parshurami, Pooja Sawant, Sanskruti Balgude, Shruti Marathe, Dipali Sayyad, Vaibhav Tattvavadi. The event also has skits by Atul Todankar, Arun Kadam, Abhijeet Chavan, Prajakta Mali, Priyadarshan Jadhav.

The nominations for various Awards are as following:

    • Best Film: Lai Bhari, Candle March, Elizabeth Ekadashi, Rege, Tapal.
    • Best Director: NishikantKamat (Lai Bhari), Laxman Utekar (Tapal), Paresh Mokahi (Elizabeth Ekadashi), Abhijeet Panse (Rege), Ganesh Kadam (Viti Dandu).
    • Best Actor: Ritesh Deshmukh (Lai Bhari), Subodh Bhave (Lokmany), Ankush Chaudhari (Classmates), Sumit Raghavan (Sandook).
    • Best Actress: Mukta Barve (Double Seat), Smita Tambe (Candle March), Sonali Kulkarni (Dr.Prakash Baba Amte).

  • Best Newcomer: Karishma Kulkarni (Dabba Ais pais), Aroh Welankar (Rege), Parna Pethe (Rama Madhav).
  • Best Actor in a negative role: Jitendra Joshi (Baji), Sharad Kelkar (Lai Bhari), Mahesh Manjrekar (Rege).
  • Best Actor in a comic role : Makrand Anaspure (Baiko No. 1), Hrishikesh Joshi (Poster Boyz), Varsha Usgaonkar (Hu TuTu).
  • Best Editing: Imran Faisal (Classmates), Dinesh Pujai (Rege). Abhijeet Deshpande (Elizabeth Ekadashi).
  • Best Story :Madhugandha Kulkarni (Elizabeth Ekadashi), Mangesh Hadavale (Tapal), Shrikant Bojewar (EkHajarachi Note).
  • Best Art Direction: Santosh Sankad (Nilkanth Master), Nitin Desai (Rama Madhav), Santosh Phutane (Lokmanya).
  • Best Cinematography: Amol Gole (Elizabeth Ekadashi), Prasad Bhende (Mitawa), Laxman Utekar (Tapal).
