Vandana Gupte, a name known for her great acting in films, stage and TV series will be doing one more role. After spending more than four decades in the industry, Vandana has become a producer. Her first film, Family Katta will be releasing on 7 October all over Maharashtra.
Vandana Gupte has partnered with her sister Rani Varma and named their banner as “Sister Concern”. Family Katta, as the name suggests is a family entertainer and stars Vandana in an important role.
Vandana and Rani are daughters of legendary singer Manik Varma and lyricist-writer Amar Varma. Both sisters have started performances from the early age and received highest honours in their field. Vandana has done numerous plays, films and TV serials. She always has been very choosy about her roles and tried to do something different and challenging everytime.
Rani Varma is an accomplished singer and recordist. She has given many hits as a playback singer. She has done many albums for children including famous “Adam Tadam Tad Tad Baja” Rani also owns a recording studio Saptak in Mumbai.
