The 4th Jagran Film Festival started off to a rousing start with the ceremonial tradition of lighting a lamp by Chief Guest Akshay Kumar and Indian Film and Stage Actress Nimrat Kaur who was seen in the recent critically acclaimed film The Lunchbox lit the lamp.
Spotted at the event was Marathi cinema’s hot actress Sai Tamhankar and south indian sultry actress Kavita Radheshyam who came to see Sanjay Jadhav’s super hit Marathi feature film Duniyadari and opening Israeli-Palestinian acclaimed film Water respectively. The opening ceremony’s red carpet, followed by film screening witnessed an illustrious gathering of filmmakers, renowned litterateurs, cinephiles and scribes.
The first day also witnessed eminent Film makers such as Anil Sharma and Sudhir Mishra along with Mayor of Mumbai Mr.Sunil Prabhu. This 4th edition of the Jagran Film Festival, Mumbai 2013 is scheduled from the 24th – 29th September, 2013 at Fun Republic, Andheri West, Mumbai.
