3rd “Navi Mumbai International Film Festival (NMIFF) 2016” has announced

“3rd Navi Mumbai International Film Festival NMIFF 2016 has been announced.  Last year 410 movies from 75 countries had participated in the Festival.  This year about 600 films from more than 100 countries are expected”, said Mr. Sachin Khanna who is the Founder & Chairman of Navi Mumbai International Film Festival.

The Film Festival is starting in the first week of December 2016.  The Entries for the Film Festival are open now and all regional & International Films can participate.  Subtitles are Mandatory for films other than in English language. Honor & Cash awards will be given to winners in various Categories.

“We want to encourage & inspire young and independent film Makers and we are glad to have continued same for last 3 years”, said Mr. Ashok Purang-Director of festival and creative producer of the national award winning film “Filmistan”.

Many film Industry Giants & Professionals like Jackie Shroff, Rima Lagoo, Marc Baschet, Nagesh Kuckunoor etc. attended the festival in past editions. Around 15 Film producers and directors were present during the screening and award function from different counties like America, Italy, and Russia etc. Russian & Italian embassy was Partners & Supporters in the past editions of Navi Mumbai International Film Festival.

There is a special section in the festival for Marathi Films to promote regional cinema. For more Information – [email protected]
